The Sophia Experience
Feminine Wholeness Retreats
What is the Sophia Experience?
It's a 4-day women's only retreat that is ...
One part whimsical and luxurious restoration.
One part advanced training in the art of feminine wholeness.
One part epically awesome girl time (with plenty of Prosecco).
Sophia Experiences are the perfect mix of elevating glamour, yoga pants and pajama-party coziness.
All parts of you belong!
Together we celebrate the goodness, goofiness and fun of being women. (Our emotions are our super power! Oxytocin galore!)
The thing that makes the Sophia Experience so, so special is it's truly intimate size. There is just 6. That means every conversation over a meal can be shared. No one feels on the fringe. Everyone is at the center of the circle. This is what makes the Sophia Experience so magical. The shared presence of the collective creates a sacred container where "mother wounds/friend wounds" can be healed and the light we learned to dim in order to belong can shine bright again.
The intimate size is very unique and special, not just for the bond it creates between you and the other women, but because of the bond it creates between you and Morgan.
Instead of a speaker on a podium, you get a friend, a big sister, a spiritual mentor. Instead of new information and an inspiring talk from a stage, you get a powerful transmission-- something that only comes when you can be in close proximity to your teacher.
This is Sophia's way. She sits beside you. She eats dinner with you. She is one of you. She does not put herself above you, but she offers her whole self to you. She weaves her wisdom through everything...through the morning practices and the training sessions, as well as through the afternoon adventures (lingerie tours! wine tasting!) and the dress-up dinners.
You leave feeling nourished in every cell of your body, because your body has been revived with healing movements and restorative breaths.
You leave feeling empowered to re-enter your life more clear and less afraid of who you are because you know a tribe of women sees you and is absolutely for you being your best, bravest, most shine-y self.
You leave feeling blessed because you have received blessing from the Divine Feminine. Sophia is with you. You know her through the felt sense and wisdom in your own body, and through the 5 other women who have shared this sacred, glamorous, and intimate experience with you.
Meet a few of the Sophia Alumnis and let them tell you about their experience...
The Sophia retreat is all the best parts of sisterhood wrapped into a weekend. Morgan creates a safe and inviting space for you to be you, sans judgment. It was exhilarating to air all of my questions, struggles, and curiosities in a group of women who were open and receptive. I have not felt this kind of freedom in church circles of women, or even in my closest friendships. My heart was breaking, and yet celebrating that the Sophia Experience was the first time I had permission to do this. If even a small part of you is considering this, follow that nudge. It will open you up to a world of inner healing and radical kindness to this body you live and breathe in. Learning the ways of a Sophia is essential for any woman seeking wholeness and health, primarily in relationship to her own body.
The fact that I am single (and a virgin) almost prevented me attending one of the most transformational weekends of my life. Don’t count yourself out if your story feels different than others. Lean into it and you’ll discover it’s actually your strength.
You cannot put a monetary value on this weekend. How do you put a price on a healthy sex life? Or having a better relationship with your body? Or feeling supremely confident when you step out the door and face the world as a woman? My only advice is to put this experience at the top of your priority list. It’s invaluable. A must-attend.

I wanted to go to the Sophia Experience initially for a relaxing getaway with women. I had been craving alone time away from motherhood and even being a wife. I thought I was confident in terms of my appearance and personality so that wasn’t really anything I thought I needed work on. What I was searching for was my voice…allowing myself the space to express my opinions and desires, even sharing some parts of me I hadn’t shared with anyone openly. I realized my relationship to my body was closed off, especially after having my son. Even though pregnancy and childbirth weren’t difficult, and honestly neither was loosing the baby weight after, I felt like I had lost an integral part of who I was. Even my marriage shifted. The pressures of working and being a parent were effecting my husband, leading me to even close myself off in the bedroom and from all forms of intimacy.
After the Sophia Experience, I left realizing how special my relationship with my husband is. How if I can breathe and sigh, move my body and treat it with kindness and love, and allow myself to speak up and even take compliments from others, that I could be open to allowing my husband to love me. Even my yoga practice at home is rigid and masculine. Giving myself permission to move the way my body CRAVES and was designed to was awakening enough! Realizing the need to love myself right where I am. Even though I walk around all the time professing the importance of self-love, I wasn’t FREELY allowing love from anyone, or myself! True.Affectionate.Love!
I think the Sophia Experience is unique in the fact that you’re not lost in a crowd full of women at a retreat. It’s intimate. You get to spend time together as women seated together, eye-to-eye. And even Morgan wasn’t up on a pedestal, but down on the ground with us as a peer gifting us with her knowledge. Plus, getting ready with other women is a ton of fun and lifting each other up was a beautiful experience.
I thought I was being selfish in taking 3 nights away from my family. Who am I to leave my husband with our son so I can have an amazing time away with women, doing yoga, eating out, swimming in the pool…being loved on?
However, my husband saw the need for this and encouraged me to go. The investment is worth it. Morgan’s gift is to teach us about feminine wholeness. Not only did she make us feel important, but she helped us KNOW THE TRUTH IS THAT WE ARE. Every thoughtful gift from her and advice that was given, even advice from the other women, is investment enough. You are worth the trip, the money, and the time that you MUST put into your well being. It taught me that I am worth it. I have value and I am important. My family is already benefiting from my time away, rediscovering myself with the other Sophias. And it’s refreshing to see glimpses of the woman I’m meant to be arriving to the surface.

The beautifully curated and deeply moving Sophia Experience will be burned into my heart forever. I was nervous about showing up with both my past hurts and my physical pain in tow, but the comforting peace of Morgan’s leadership combined with the open hearts of the other guests have impacted me so profoundly over the last few days! The thoughtful schedule left us with plenty of time for rest AND play, but my favorite part was digging in to the teaching each morning. So glad I pushed past my own personal blocks to be there, and would absolutely recommend this trip for women who crave a deeper connection between their spirituality and sexuality.
